With CAD files for components and PCBs in industry standard formats, full BOMs and any necessary hand tooling required for manufacture. Fully tested and ready for market.
For retailers, we offer a no-obligation evaluation service for you to see and try our products.
We obtain and maintain the appropriate IP to protect you and us.
We're a small design company who have neither the facilities nor the desire to mass produce, market and retail our products ourselves.
Instead we offer flexible licensing terms to manufacturers with us earning through negotiable royalty. This removes the risk for you as we only get paid when you sell.
If you might be interested in offering any of our products for sale, get in touch via the Contact page.
We maintain stocks of all of our products which you are welcome to try out. For small things like the teaching stencils we offer free samples.
For the bigger stuff we offer a no-obligation evaluation period service. You pay us a deposit (to cover the cost to us in the event that the product doesn't come back) and we send you the product of your choice to try. At the end of the evaluation period, you send the product back to us and then we return your deposit.
Our Designs pages give the approximate build cost for us and a target retail price. Bear in mind these are based on production of single units. With many of our designs there would be significant economies of scale for large orders and production runs.
We subcontract volume production to third party manufacturers in the UK. We maintain appropriate intellectual property protection for all our products which protects you as our retailer and us as designers from others copying and undercutting us both.
If you try a product and are interested but would like to see changes, we're open to discussion. We realise we don't have a monopoly on good ideas and you know your customers better than we do. Also if you try one of our products and it's not for you, that's fine. We won't cry. All we ask for is some honest feedback.
If you are a manufacturer who might be interested in making any of our products or making some components for them then get in touch. Our details are on the Contact page.
We've done all the work to get the designs production ready and the Designs pages show you our intended manufacturing methods and materials.
We supply you with our CAD files, dimensions, bills of materials and suggested suppliers. So if you have production facilities you should have everything you need to begin manufacture.
Of course, none of this is cast in stone. We can tweak the designs to suit your individual machinery and you can get bought-in components from your own supplier network.
If you're a manufacturer with a marketing arm and you want to make the products and pitch them to your retailer network yourselves, great. In that case, all you pay us is licensing fees or royalty on your sales. These are negotiable and will vary from product to product. However we aren't greedy and our overheads are very low so we won't stiff you.
We're lefty tree-huggers so we aren't going to licence our products for manufacture by far-eastern child slave labour or to be shipped half way around the world.
Some of our stuff is available for sale to the public, either through our shop or through retailers. Some of our stuff is ready for manufacture but no-one makes or sells it yet.
On our Designs pages you'll see an 'I'd buy this' button next to many of our products. If you see something you like that isn't for sale the best thing you can do is click this. The more of those we get, the more it shows retailers that there's market demand for our products which in turn will lead to them appearing in shops.
